I have what?

I have recently been having bowel issues, yes I said bowel, in other words my poop is loose. There I said it, I have loose stools, it didn't matter what I ate, I would be making a mad dash to the nearest bathroom to dump, I kept thinking that this isn't normal but, I kept going about my day. Then I started having bad abdominal cramps, these cramps felt like someone was running a knife through my colon! I finally gave in and went to my internist, she conducted a whole battery of test, and let me tell you they were not fun and not easy to do, I had to give a lot of blood and she asks me to do the unthinkable, my response to her was, "You want me to do what in a cup?" Let me get this straight, she wants me to poop in a cup that is no bigger than a small butter tub, oh and I can not contaminate the fecal material with urine. I was thinking to myself, has she seen me, I am not a small person, in fact I am a large person and she wants me to hold this small cup to my rectum, try to poop in it without getting any urine mixed in with the poop. Let me tell you everyone disappears when you tell them what you have to do, "Hey, mom, I have to poop in this little tiny cup can you help me out?" Bam, she is gone, out the door, dragging my 7 year old with her. "Hey mom thanks for the love!" But, I got my dooty done and turned into the Dr. office the next day. Then I had to wait for 2 months to see the Gerontologist. During that time I couldn't eat, even sitting and standing was painful, I spent most of my time in bed or on the toilet. Even though I didn't eat I had to poop, and it wasn't the normal poop it was shooting liquid out my butt. Have you ever projectile vomited, you know were it comes out so hard and so fast that you think it will blow a hole through the toilet, well that is what the pooping was like. I got on the scale a week later and noticed that I was rapidly loosing weight, I don't mind to tell you I was happy with the weight loss, but not the way I was doing it. My rectum became so sore that I started using baby wipes to pat my rectum clean, so not only was I having blood in my stools, my rectum was also bleeding. Those were the hardest two months of my life!
